✦ How-To Guide
AI Interview Analyzer
Find out how your interview answers land before you say them for real.
What it does
Scores your interview answers and shows you what to fix. It rates clarity, specificity, relevance, confidence, and STAR structure. It also rewrites weak answers using only your real experience, so you keep your facts and improve your delivery.
Before you start
- Have a transcript or practice answer ready to paste.
- Link the related job or application for feedback aimed at that role.
How to use the AI Interview Analyzer
Open the Interviews page and start a new analysis.
Give your session a title.
Choose the interview type.
Link an application or job post.
Paste your transcript or practice answer.
💡 The transcript is the only required field. The Analyze button stays locked until you paste one in.
💡 Title, interview type, the application and job links, and notes are all optional. Link a job so the feedback ties to that role's priorities.
Add notes for context.
Click Analyze Interview and review your scores.
What to expect
Analysis runs in a few seconds, then your scorecard opens. You get an overall score plus clarity, specificity, relevance, confidence, and STAR ratings out of 100. Each answer comes with what worked, what to fix, and a rewrite that keeps your real facts. A vague transcript gets honest feedback on the details you left out.
Tips for best results
- Paste full answers — more detail produces sharper, fairer scores than a one-line reply.
- Link the job — feedback then aligns with the role and your earlier fit analysis.
- Add context in notes — flag the seniority level or what made you nervous in the room.
- Use the rewrites — they preserve your real facts and only sharpen wording and structure.
- Practice the questions — each analysis suggests follow-up questions to drill before the real thing.
