Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This policy explains what data Climbr collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

01

Who we are

Climbr is an AI-assisted job application platform available at climbr.work. We help job seekers — particularly Filipino virtual assistants and remote workers — check job fit, build targeted resumes, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews.

You can reach us at support@climbr.work.

02

What we collect

Account information: your email address and name, collected when you sign up via Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Google, we receive the profile details your Google account shares.

Content you create: job posts you import, application notes, resume drafts, cover letters, and interview responses. This content is stored in our database so the service can function.

AI task inputs: text you submit for fit checks, resume generation, cover letter writing, and interview analysis. These inputs are sent to third-party AI providers (see below) to generate responses.

Usage data: which features you use and how many times per month, stored as quota counters. This is how we enforce plan limits.

Payment information: handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card number or banking details.

Analytics: anonymized usage statistics collected by Google Analytics (page views, session duration, general location). We do not use Google Analytics to identify individuals.

03

How we use it

To provide the service — generating AI outputs, storing your applications, and displaying your dashboard.

To enforce plan quotas — tracking monthly usage per feature so Free, Plus, and Pro limits are respected.

To process payments — passing billing information to Lemon Squeezy to manage subscriptions.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume or job data to train AI models.

04

Third-party services

Supabase — database and authentication. Your account data and content are stored on Supabase servers in the United States. Supabase's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and Merchant of Record. As the seller of record, Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, billing, and sales tax; their privacy policy governs all payment data.

OpenRouter — AI model routing. When you use a feature that generates AI output, your input (e.g. resume text, job description) is sent to OpenRouter and forwarded to the underlying model provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). Do not include sensitive personal information (government IDs, passwords) in your inputs.

Firecrawl — job post scraping. When you import a job post by URL, that URL is sent to Firecrawl to extract the job content.

Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics via Google's infrastructure.

05

Data retention

Your account data and content are retained while your account is active.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email support@climbr.work. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Lemon Squeezy retains billing records (invoices, payment history) according to their own retention policy, independent of account deletion.

06

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

You may request correction of inaccurate data.

You may request deletion of your account and data.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@climbr.work.

07

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in (managed by Supabase Auth). These are necessary for the service to function.

Google Analytics sets analytics cookies. These are anonymized and do not identify you personally. You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

08

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
