Drafts a cover letter matched to a specific job and your background. It gives you a subject line and a full letter, each with a one-click copy button. It pulls from your profile, the job details, and your fit analysis so the letter reads like you.
Before you start
- Import the job you are applying to so the letter has something to match.
- Complete your profile so the letter reflects your real experience.
- Run Job Fit Analysis first for a sharper angle.
How to use Cover Letter Generator
Open a saved job from your Jobs list.
Find the Actions panel on the right.
Click Generate Cover Letter.
Wait a few seconds for your draft.
Review the subject line and body.
Copy the text, or edit it inline.
💡 Each section has its own Copy button. Use Edit to tweak wording, or Regenerate for a fresh take on the same job.
💡 Regenerate only works while the letter stays linked to its job post. A letter with no linked job cannot be regenerated.

Your draft opens in a few seconds. You see a subject line and a full letter, each with a copy button. Climbr adds an accuracy note if the letter includes anything it cannot verify against your profile. The more complete your profile and job analysis, the more specific and convincing the letter reads.
Tips for best results
- Analyze fit first — the letter borrows its angle from your job analysis when one exists.
- Complete your profile — concrete experience produces a stronger, less generic letter.
- Review the accuracy note — confirm every claim is true before you send the letter.
- Edit the draft — adjust the opening line so it sounds like your own voice.
- Regenerate freely — request another version if the first one misses the mark.
